Well, old GW wants the US in a war with every country in the world so why the hell not? He's already got a beautiful mess going on in Iraq, he's in a pissing contest with North Korea, so whats one more front to get involved in?
So, No, I don't think the US should get into it.

The United States has an obligation under treaty to assist in Israel's defense if it is attacked by another nation. This is why the Arab League funds organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. - to engage in continuous asymmetric warfare in an attempt to destroy Israel while maintaining official deniability and staying just short of he point where mutual defense treaties would be activated.
Thanks to the large (or at least loud) contingent willing to sell out Israel's very existence and risk a second Holocaust, just to score points off the President, Iran and Syria may well believe they have a chance of direct intervention with the likes of Sen. Durbin and Sen. Kennedy to put the brakes on any US response. And of course they know they can count on the New York Times to torpedo any intelligence advantage we may have.

I don't see how we wouldn't.
We're right smack dab in the middle. Take a look at a Middle East map. Iran would have to cross through Turkey to help Syria placing Iran in a disadvantaged position. Plus, the Turks would have to agree to it.
However, I seriously doubt the U.S. wants that to happen. They are letting Israel off the leash for bit to roam around the yard. But pretty soon, they'll be whistled back in to have the leash re-attached.

Israel doesn't want any more land. didn't they make that clear when they gave the gaza strip to thepalestinians, ad whatdid thepalestinians do, demand more land, blow up people and kidnap young men and take them into Lebanon like the cowards they are, hiding behind the skirts of women and little girls. Israes has to defend its people. Its a shame they can't find a way to kill all male palestinians over the age of 5. Then maybe this stupidity would stop. I don't think the USA needs to intervene unless they offer to take children temporarily to the States for protection.

Iran will need to go through Iraq, so the USA should intervene to protect it's interests in Iraq. Israel should have no problems dealing with the Syrians as long as they have air superiority as previous conflicts involving it's neighbors have shown.

By no rules they can, but what can we do for real?
We know US will do it. By the way, i don't think it's gonna be Iran and Syria only, i think Hamas and Lebanon will be involved because Israel is beating the hell out of them now.

USA should not intervene because it is none of the white house business.
However, related to oil and the so called "world police" status, the big ego George W Bush must intervene.
This just make the situation more complicated and more and more people died due to his poor decision.

No cause its not the USA's war. and that the USA's army's money is running on empty.
Though neither of those will probably stop them. Then yet again USA went to war with Iraq over weapons of mass destruction that didn't exicst, but then why don't the USA go to war with North Korea?

Um have you looked at a map? We are right in the middle (in Iraq) of what you described. I hope we run like hell...in fact that would be a great way to get us out of Iraq. We could just leave the arms there for Iraq to jump into the whole thing and let them all settle it for themselves.
