Well, first of all, snakes don't have legs. However, it may be some sort of skink. Skinks look like a cross between a lizard & snake in that they have small legs & can walk or slither. They have no pronounced neck & can regenerate their tails. They are also found worldwide. I'm not sure if the one you saw is poisonous, I'd need more information.

nicely, no longer precisely. Snakes stepped forward from lizards, which had legs. There are some lizards in the present day that have long previous the comparable path, and lost their legs (such via fact the 'glass snake'). The fossil checklist exhibits many products of the form from legged lizard to legless snake. the main primitive snakes nevertheless have a remnant pelvis (the pythonidae). in addition they have claws--all that proceed to be of what have been as quickly as legs farther back of their evolution. those claws are noted as spurs, and are utilized in courtship. there is greater to a snake than basically the lack of ability of legs, of direction--snakes lack an significant figuring out function which all lizards (even the legless ones) have. this option is an exterior ear canal.

Hahaha, this Q&A is funny! First, the question... I was like "isn't that politically incorrect, to call something a snake when it's got legs???" But even more hilarious was the answer "my ex-bf, he's poisonous wherever he is" lmao, rofl!!! I should tell that joke some time:p

probably a species of skink.it is harmless, although it may bite you, and they do have surprisingly sharp little teeth.however, all snakes still carry a thigh bone .this is left over from when they began to evolve into what we know as a snake now.evolution has caused them to leave thier legs behind and crawkl on thier bellies.
