It really is more of a chore now and I really could go with out it at all. However I feel very guilty and know I am neglecting my very patient husband. I was told it takes about a year for your hormones to get semi-balanced out, but I just dont see any change.

Oh, I can so relate. I have a 20 month old and a 9month old. I am just so tired and I don't feel sexy anymore. I think that because we are so involved with our children that we don't make time for our relationships anymore. We used to have a great sex life and now it has just fizzled. It does make me feel sad. I am sorry I didn;t answer your question very well, but thanks for asking it. I am relieved to know that I am not the only one who feels that way.

I have a close male friend who has told me the same thing. Their baby will be 2 yrs old in the fall and he says his wife has lost all interest in sex. I also had a baby 5 months ago and still have not the desire! Right now i feel as if I could go the rest of my life w/o sex, but I'm hoping to someday have the desire again!
Right now I am just too tired to make it a priority.
Maybe you're physician could recommend something by way of vitamins or something.

Best wishes!

It probably has very little to do with your hormones. Often times, it has a lot more to do with stress. One thing I know for a fact, having the baby in the same room with the parents as an infant is a sex-killer for sure.
