Sorry, but I don't think this is possible at the moment. I haven't encountered a stop or recall button on yahoo e-mails yet. I used a "recall" option/button only in Microsoft Outlook, wherein after clicking this button you have the option to delete the mail you sent completely or deleIete it and replace with a new e-mail as along as the mail you sent is not yet read by the intended recipient. Its a good suggestion for their Quality Improvement staff though. Anyway, I hope there's someone out there who have a solution for that dilema. Good luck!

The only way that it would be possible to cancel a message from a Yahoo account would be if the message was sent to another Yahoo account and the recipient hasn't opened it yet - but I don't think Yahoo has thought of that yet!

Microsoft will give you a chance to stop an email one more time but not many email providers do that, including YAHOO. Sorry but the email is there in the wrong box within seconds after you hit the "send" button.

No it cannot be cancelled. I believe AOL has the option to cancel emails once sent, but not yahoo mail. Sorry.

as the advert says, 'once it's gone, it's gone' you can only remove posts to newsgroups etc, but an e mail is undeleteble, that is why so mnay people have been in trouble with them, hitting send, and realising you've sent the e mail meant for your g/f to your boss, or vice versa.

no - a common mistake of mine too. Wish I knew where they went when lost too. Although I have found that sometimes the reply is attached to the sent email, believe this can be altered somewhere on the system too.
