I used to be a meat-eater, and hated veggies. But after a fishing trip, and seeing the fishes struggling against the hooks, it just dawned on me that they are living things just like us. Animals, and ocean lives are all like us.. They have the will to live, and they also have the right to live. I turned vegetarian almost over night, and have been one for 10 plus years. Never regret it, and I can never go back to meat eating.
Because of the experience, I also found my religion too - Buddhism.

I don't find it difficult not being a vegetarian. I am an Animal Sciences major and I have seen cattle being harvested. I didn't mind it and I realize that they are put on this earth to be food for humans and other animals. If no one ate cattle, hogs, chicken, and sheep the earth would be overrun with these animals. Also, these animals eat at lot of by-products and forages that humans cannot digest. Therefore there would probably not be enough vegetation to feed everyone.

I am not a vegetarian. I feel perfectly justified eating certain animals, but I don't think that I could manage to eat others.
Cows: I eat beef because I also use leather. I don't eat veal because I think it's wrong to eat something that isn't even able to procreate.
Chickens: I eat chicken often because I feel that chickens are among the most disgusting, stupid & smelly creatures that exist & that they should at least be used for something productive.
Turkey: I eat turkey occasionally; mostly at family dinners. *shuddering @ the idea of family dinners*
Rabbit: NEVER. I had rabbits as pets... I can't eat them.
Duck: Never tried it. Not sure if I could handle it because I think that they're cute.
Snails: Don't think I could keep them down.
Pigs: I admit that I do like bacon, but I don't like the taste of pork.
Seafood: I'm allergic. Can't help you, sorry.

im 14 and i was a vegitarian last year for about a year and a half... (but i ate sea food and poulty)
and it was really hard to start eatting meat again
because my mom was saying it was too hard to cook
for me... ( my dad is a meat cutter and we have meat like everynight)
so i slowly went back onto meat and it wasnt that hard
but i agree with you... i dont like the fact of eastting animals
and i only really eat meat when i have too...
but also think about this...
if there are more chickens in this world then there are people..
what would appen if we didnt eat
1/2 of those chickens...?
but im not trying to go against you...
because i still cant look at a burger
with out thinking of
the poor cow...
power to you

sure we are born to position self belief in plant foodstuff no longer on meat. each and each and every of the animals devour what r meant to devour . and they are purely proper .they do nt pick any hospitals ,they d nt bypass blind ,they don't get even a million ailment out f those thousands and thousands trillions of diseases what human beings get .all of them coz of eating wrongs meals.also purely being vegetarian also doesnt get u proper . vegetarians also ought to preserve no longer eating each and everything cooked, junk and so on etccc .solar cooked like quite a few raw vegetables n raw culmination r the perfect .entire grains too back inspect ur pets .u ruin them with incorrect /processed meals n they fall ill like we do .

I have been vegetarian for 15 years, and it hasn't been too difficult. Plus I feel better than I ever did when I ate animal flesh.
