why hasnt the media picked up on this?? its hiding in broad daylight on a government website--(of all places) only a few talk show hosts have spoken about it. bush, fox, and prime minister of canada have already signed it. email me after reading the website and tell me what you think about it all-- and let me know if you are able to sleep tonight.-- chris

Canada, Mexico and US can merge as nation if the majority of the people will vote for it. Anyway, the surviving nation will be called USA with Mexico and Canada as the additional states.

This is about such things as pollution in the Great Lakes and Rio Grande, SARS, terrorism, bird flu, etc. The US, Canada and Mexico have no choice but to cooperate on these sorts of issues. It's not like a SARS virus knows what country it's in, and all but one of the Great Lakes are shared.

The governments aren't joining, it's simply a matter of making NAFTA stronger and more widespread. Which benefits Mexico a lot, and Canada some, all at the expense of the American working class.

I just read the site, and it appears to be an agreement to cooperate on issues, not merge as countries. That would require a blending of constitutions and laws. This appears to be a good thing, in my opinion.

no need to e-mail you but it's just not going to ever happen , why? those countries might want to cash in on the finances and wealth that this country has but our countries government is to greedy to share, and those countries don't want our problems and headaches that go along with our greed

dont worry. they are not talk about joing in union, read in more detail its not about merging governments its only agreements (conventions) of boarder safety standards

i dont think this is what is going to happen, especially if a democrat is elected president in 2008(well we hope not)
