Me and my ex broke up 5 months ago we were together for 2 years.I have 2 children from a previous relationship.We supposidly broke up on good terms but we really didn't.But he asked me what i wanted to do break up or be apart for a while,i was so upset emotionally i just said break up.As he moved out it seemed like he didn't want to he was sighing as he was hauling his stuff out.Anyways he still wanted to do stuff with my kids he wanted us to be friends but he was never friends with any ex's.He told his cousin he didn't want to be with anyone for like a year and that's how he was he would wait a while when ever his relationships were over.Well his mom who i was close to ended up setting him up with a friend of hers a month after we broke up, i could not believe this that she did this to me i was so devistated.He never had a girlfriend do what i did for him.But why does he continue to take my kids?He won't even talk to me he has other people call me when he wants them.

He is obviously not ready for commitment. He can't be that bad of a guy if he still sees the kids... But if he has no intention of being with you permanently, This will only make it harder on the children!! I don't get it. Maybe he knows you are not the one for him, but he got attached to your kids..What a mess. I can see why you are confused....So am I.

Maybe he loves you and your kids so much but pride is not letting him try to patch thingz up with him coz of what you did if you love him why dont you just call him and try to talk things over, my instinct tells me he still wants you but is waiting for you to make the next move. good luck

its over between u and him but he wants to be part of ur childrens life so just accept its over and be happy that he is stepping up and cares about ur kids.
