I'm not sure this answer will satisfy you, but here it goes:...
The four 'core' groups are Caucasoid, Mongoloid, *******, and Australoid.
Racial sub-classifications exist, but tend to be used to define a type of people who have, on a genetic level, undergone some 'restructuring' as a result of 'extended' procreation of one race with another.
N.B.: Racial sub-classifications should not be confused with the 'hybridization' the we see so much of now, particularly in North America. This 'hybridization' does not add to 'biological' racial diversity, as it is nothing more than sudden 'admixing' of heteroracial genetic material, as opposed to the creation of new genetic attributes brought on through the process of evolution. In this, 'hybrid' combinations of raciogenetic traits diminish 'biological' racial diversity to the extent that they flaw the genetic combinations of the core racial stocks which have been created and strengthened through the process of evolution..

Races don't differ, a human being is a human being, we feel the same, we hate, we love, we suffer, we die and so on. Maybe the only difference is the way we think but otherwise, WE ARE ONE!
The creation of races was due to people putting each other in boxes and labelling them!
But the truth is we are all the same despite the outside, being judgemental and prejudging people is not a humane thing to do, the first time you meet people you should give them all equal opportunites

If you believe that species differ.. like physically and habitually.. than yes, all races differ. They are the product of their environment. If environments differ, so do they. Its the law of nature, God's creation of the universe and its laws and its evolution (a law also created by God). And yes, this last sentence I made myself and believe in totally. Its neither creationist or evolution based, its both.
What constitutes a race? Why, their degree of difference to others. A seperate race is defined by the degree of difference. The larger the difference, the seperate a "race".

If you've been to an anthro class or higher education in the last few years, you learn that race is no longer a valid category, and proven to be a social construct. There is more genetic variation within an "ethnic" grouping, than there is without.
So the only races are the ones that involve running.

It depends on how you look at the word. A race is a group of people with similar history, nationality, or geographic distribution.
However if you mean African, Hispanic, Asian, American, etc., it comes down to 3 different sets (not scientific use): Caucasoid, Mongoloid, & *******.
Caucasoids are whites, hispanics, etc. For those screaming at the differences, let me put it this way: have you ever noticed on the bubble sheet-type deals you fill in on SATs that it says "White(Not of Hispanic origin)" that means that Hispanics are white!
Mongoloids are (obviously) asians.
Negroids are (also obviously) africans of sub-Saharan regions
Through intermixing from slave trades & travel, "races" like African-American, mulatto, etc. have emerged. Basically, the only differences in race are really differences in heritage & physical features.

Part of the confusing thing is the nomenclature. The Scientific catagory system of kingdom/species/race/etc was used to describe skin colour & used to justify Racist policy. There is a biological advantage in some physical environments - but at the same time Humans had also "evolved" culturally so the changes were limited & did not actually create seperate "race" as used in the scientific classification. .

I don't believe in race. We may all be from different countries and up-bringings, but we all bleed the same color, have the same body parts, same mind, etc.. Now, culture is a different story. People can be brought up in different cultures, but we should all be open-minded about it if we'd like respect for our own cultures. But it's near impossible to make other people believe that.

The races differ due to various adaptations to environmental forces ages ago. As time goes on, because we can now alter our environment to suit us, as opposed to it altering us, you will see a homogenizing of the human race.
Shouldn't take more than a few tens of thousnads of years, which at the rate we're going, we won't make. We'll have driven ourselves extinct long before we can adapt to the changes in the environment we are now causing
