I recently saw a mother at the movies with a baby (perhaps a yr old) on her lap. She had the bottle in the cup holder and the baby had the nipple in his mouth like a pacifier.
Are these safe/heathy? Have you used them? Would you recommend them? maybe only for certain ages?
I'm looking for ALL comments positive or negative from parents who have used these bottles.

Thanks in advance!

Funny that I saw this...I had gotten one as a gift and it's been tucked away. I just used it this weekend and it worked OK. Definitely only to be used for a baby that can pull the nipple out of their mouth when they're done. My daughter did NOT like the nipple it came with because it took so much suction. I tried a different nipple and it was still tough for her. It worked a little because it gave her a couple of ounces, but she would not have been happy if she was really hungry because she was getting frustrated with it. The good part is that it works with any standard bottle and any nipple. Since I've only used it once, I'll probably give it another shot. But TONS of people stopped me in the mall to ask me where I got it.

It kinda reminds me of the hard hat that held 2 beer cans with the tubing that runs to your mouth :)

Not safe, not healthy. A baby can choke if left alone to take a bottle. And babies also *need* to be held frequently (which is often 23 hours and 59 minutes per day). Stay away from them with a baby of *any* age. You signed up for this when you became a parent (even if you didn't know it!!); your baby needs *you*, not some contraption to take care of her/him when it becomes inconvenient.

Maybe if they were old enough to hold the bottle themselves, but i don't suggest anyone using this type on an infant any less than 6 months of age.

Have no personal experience with this bottle, but try the following for some commonly asked questions:
