Wow. I'm not gay, so I can't say for sure, never dealt with this. But I would venture to guess that with something as big as that, either they're open-minded and ok with it, or they aren't.

Now if your parents will accept it, but it might be a hard blow for them to absorb, I would do it at some time when they don't have a lot of other stress on their minds.

Good luck! And by the way, I hope there's a day when nobody ever has to hide this to begin with.

1st off dont do it while there sitting down eating dinner with you at the dinner table. that will only make everyone choke. do it when your completly sure of yourself, and you know its not a phase. but if your past that then the sooner the better. The longer you hold it in, the more it will eat away at you. just be honest, and tell the truth. sit them down. n tell them. if u have siblings make sure their not around, it makes it a lot harder on u. trust me. but just do it, cause either way if u wait or not, your still gonna get the same reaction. and probably the same lecture. "no matter that we still love you, and will always be here for you"

well i believe that this could be a good thing or a bad thing, it matters how your parents are, I believe so people may take it bad but some dont, I believe if your the way you are you are still a
person and they should accept you for who you really are. If you have a good relationship with them it shouldn't be a problem, if they are not hen maybe you can just not tell them, its areally hard decision.

this depends on how old you are. You should wait until you are at least dating age, like 16, but then again 18 is a good age also. You just want to be sure to tell them before they catch you "with" another person. Try and tell them on a low key day when they are a little understanding.

When you are ready. You know in your heart when you are and your heart will be much lighter when you do. Dont worry about the public, you have to live and think for yourself. Good luck. I hope you are accepted with open arms.

the best time to be with my parents is during meals wherein we could enhance our bonding and be able to exchange our ideas, good or bad.
