You could get antivirus stuff and scan your pc... run a disk check.... and defrag... or you could do all this and upgrade your RAM and CPU and/or you could get a FREE ram cleaner like CleanRAM (search in google or yahoo) OR you could get a PC/CPU Optimizer.. I recommend Intelli HyperSpeed 2005... It's very cheap or you could download the trial and then download an illegal crack for it which i dont recommend you do! I say look for it in computer stores or on ebay..
Hope this helps
Remember..
1. Anti-Virus, Ad-aware, Spyware Scans
2. Run Disk Check/Scan
3. Defrag (Right click on your Hard Drive in my computer then go properties, then something like tools)
4. RAM Cleaner
5. PC Optimizer (I recommend Intelli HyperSpeed 2005, ITS GREAT!!! It can optimize for office use, home use, or games! Even turn it into a super computer)

Too many programs or processes running. Try cutting back on programs you don't need running when Windows starts or add more Ram. This can also be an indication of Spy or Ad-ware. Download Adaware and Spy-Bot (both free) and scan your system. Make sure your antivirus is up to date and scan your system. Clean as necessary.

it would help to know what your system is in order to give accurate advice.
it would be nice to know what your operating system is (MAC, Windows, Linux ETC), I'm assuming your running a windows based system.
but some of the main reasons for this are:
your internet cache needs to be emptied
your hard drives are badly fragmented (run defrag.exe)
your CPU is a slow CPU
you don't have enough RAM
you may have malware on your system, adware etc.
so try www.spybot.com www.lavasoft.com (for adaware) www.microsoft.com for windows defender, www.trendmicro.com fro pc-cillin internet security (free trial) the other software is freeware however you are ex[ected but not required to make a donation to spybot.
provide more info for a more detailed answer.

If u can't have it fixed, or if it responds the same way after being fixed
Get a new PC, cuz these kind of computers get on your mind and u will start to grow white hairs. And before u know it u will go crazy cuz computers like that go straight to the head.

You likely have spyware. AdAware and Spybot are great freeware programs that can detect and remove spyware and malware. You can get them both from download.com.
The problem might be due to a heavily fragmented drive. Defraging your harddrive(s) from time to time can help keep things running quickly and smoothly.

been to Internet sites here n there? u might try Internet eraser (deleting your temp files, cos it would take up nearly 200mb of your disk after active browsing) or simply "clean up your disk" - if otherwise, check with the pro
