I think that's just your perspective. Have you actually travelled much outside of the US? I've travelled the world many times over during the past twenty years and have never encountered any terrorism or anti-american sentiment(maybe a little good natured ribbing in the UK, that's about it). As an individual, treat people with respect, be polite, and they really won't care too much where you're from. You've got a greater chance of being struck by lightning than getting killed by a terrorist.

Well I think what we should do is attack a few more countries, say anyone with an attitude, like Venezuela, Iran. Syria, North Korea, France and Canada and anyone else who gives us any lip. We should support anything Israel does, preach human right swhile we secretly torture people, force democracy on all those backward people who don't know what it is and at the same time roll back a good deal of our own freedoms in the name of security. Then we should definitely point out to the world that you are with us in our crusades and endeavors or you are our enemy. That is how to make people like you.

I.m not afraid to travel to Europe or South America. The Democrats tell us that the whole world hates us because of Bush. Ironically, many hate us because they read the slander of hateful spewed by democrats in the congress. In their frantic efforts to discredit Bush they have denigrated the reputation of the entire U.S. They have also emboldened the terrorists in Iraq and prolonged the way there.

Fear is a personal emotion. If YOU learn to deal with your fears, YOU can overcome them. This is not an issue of nationality, although it may seem so to you.
And how do you overcome fear? All your fears, at least in this context, are created by your thinking. You cannot change the world, but you can change your thinking. You may even start right now!
