ah but there is an answer my friend... it's spelled as "GREED"...
the very reason that mankind is always at war with himself... like most of us, i despise war, it's endless killings. and we have no power to stop other people from continuously exploiting it. funny thing is, these yahoo answers is the bridge of many people exchanging views, opinions, facts, knowledge; coming from different races, of different religious beliefs... yet all of us here acknowledges each other efforts despite not knowing who we're chatting with. why can't mankind realize that all of us still wishes "PEACE FOR MANKIND"?.... Amen?

I could be wrong about this, but I think it appears to be more hate because we have instant communications, the Internet. It's a place where anyone can say anything they want. Since the beginning of time, there has been hate. However, now, in the comfort of your home, you can see anything you want about the results of hate. Too bad, what a shame. However, we all have a choice where we go for our news and other content.

where there are religious differences and no economic injustice along religious lines, there are no conflicts - ditto racial wars - where there are racial differences without economic differences along racial lines, there are no conflicts
however everything you read would give you the impression tht there are religious wars - but check to see if there are not economic differences too
money is very very important - because it satisfies all needs and also millions of wants - money is much more a cause of conflict
in northern ireland, the catholics are poor, and kept out of power - in south africa, the blacks were on a 10th of white pay - in los angeles riots, the blacks were poor
we have had 'the rich get richer, etc' for a long long time - so it has gone very far - the injustice [theft] is very very great and obvious - pay ranges from $1 to $1 billion dollars a fortnight's work - from 1000th to a million times the average pay - a billion times as much for the same amount of work! - and not many people are really aware of the injustice - and the extreme degree of it
people talk of 'social justice' as if it would be nice, but not as if it would be essential for survival and happiness
when money is stolen, food and shelter are stolen - basic needs
there is so much hate in the world because there is so much theft, injustice
how angry would you be to be on 100th of your pay [for the same amount of work]? - multiply by 5 billion - that is how much violence would leave the world if we practiced justice - 90% of people are on between 10th and 1000th of average hourly pay
what do we get for all this theft? - what are the benefits? - heaps of dough for a fraction of 1%, which is a tremendous danger to them, because it is stolen, because so many others have comparatively very little - and overpay cannot add much pleasure, because fairpay satisfies almost all wants - it is a big negative benefit to the overpaid, as well!
and to get this benefit for the 1%, we all suffer extreme hate and violence and danger, and underpay - every family working average hard would be on us$75,000 a year if there was no theft, no overpay,
if 1% werent getting 90% of world income, US$70 TRILLION a year - which is a danger to them - eg, ceausescu, dead despite having the secret police of a nation to protect him - and the pleasures of overpay are so little, gold taps, sparkly rocks on fingers, the enormous pleasure of seeing one's cat in a $1 million jade and gold pethouse
for this, we starve to death 50 million [1% of humanity] each year, and enjoy the violence and danger and tension and tyranny and state terrorism and destruction of liberty and democracy and our rights and the escalation of war to nuclear extinction in our lifetime
bad bargain
go back to original american dream - prevent concentration of wealth [theft of everything good] by limitation of fortunes to the maximum a person can truly earn, by their work [US$2 million] - prevent tyrants, fascism, violence, hate, endless conflict escalating to extinction
a society based on theft, on extreme overpay and underpay, with escalating violence and hate, or a society based on common sense, no overpay and no underpay, no theft, no violence

Karma. One act of hate spreads like wildfire. After thousands of years of bad karma, you get a world like we have today. People killing one another without even knowing why or who they are attacking.

Perhaps you just look in the wrong places. There is a lot of hate, but anyone who feels there is so much that they should be miserable must be looking for it.

Overpopulation and globalization is making it worse, because hate is being around us forever. Don't step on my yard and I don't want to hear or see you.
