What's the pay like for seaonal tax preparers at H&R Block and places like that?

And how do you get paid? Commission? Salary? Combination? Are there any benefits?

Most H&R type seasonal preparing are like a sweatshop operation. You crank out as many as you can as fast as you can, and you get paid per return. (Hence, why you crank out as many as y ou can.) But, the returns you get are fairly straight forward, your regular 1040 stuff.
