I think everyone should be allowed to post here...teens and kids are going to have more questions than the rest of us adults. I feel good when I answer a question for the younger groups, I just hope they listen. And yes, kids and teens can be a little behind but not really slow...they just haven't been through what the adults have been through yet. Keep posting and ignore the older people who just want to be mean.

I don't think that ALL teens are a little bit on the slow side, I was a teen once, so why would I think that?
I agree though, most teens should not be here. Kids should not be here, period. I've seen too many questions that are inappropriate. I don't think there's really a way (other than a credit card verification) to really keep the kids out.

I think this is a great place for learning a lot of things, and that for most teens age 13-14 on up it is appropriate. I do get annoyed at the stupid and silly things a lot of teens do on here, but I have been a parent (and a teen) and know how that goes, so mostly I ignore it.
I do have concerns when i see people saying they are 9 or 10 and they are on here, because i think a lot of the subjects discussed and things available for viewing are not at all appropriate for children.
By the age of 13-15, one is naturally asking questions about sex, as well as a lot of other subjects, and I think the more information available, the better.

no teens are not at all slow, they tend to ask very inappropriate questions, some may be offensive to adults. the problem is that there is no special section for teens, so a lot of annoying sex related questions will be in 'pregnancy & parenting' which ends up being viewed by adults mainly. yahoo can't check on the kids but they can make an exclusive area for them so they can do their asking and replying there.

Hey dont gang up on the teens. the few bad teens out there have earned a bad rep for all of us. yes our generation may be the laziest so far but that doesnt mean that all of us are lazy. i have had over 15best answers so some adult must think that my advice works. and most of it was on parenting because i am the oldest of four kids. if you adults read this and dont even think about my response when you ask questions, fine, but even teen advice can be advice for something.u adults gotta stop putting us down becuase like the song says, "we are the youth of the nation" and the youth grow up to be the generation with the president and governers eventually. :) no hard feelings im just sick of being put down 'cause of my age. hey i got some questions to answer ^_^ ((if you call me being on a competitive soccer team, cross country, and on the school newspaper lazy, then maybe its you adults that are a little whack!))

I don't think teens and kids should be allowed on the internet AT ALL!!!! But that is my opinion as a concerned parent myself. The internet is more dangerous than your own front porch nowadays. There are more sexual predators in the internet than in your own town. I think the internet should be like bars! You should have to be atleast 21 or older to get on-line and show a valid id!!! I know that would be next to impossible but hey it was an idea! I don't think the kids are stupid just not well educated about sex and other concerns.

I am a teen but a very mature one at that. I think that no one below 13 should be on this site, and that a section should be devoted to teenagers on yahoo. clearly not ALL teens are on the slow side, though many are. it seems that way also because of the immature questions asked on here. just ignore them and it will be fine. afterall, they just ask them to get attention and lots of answers on this site. hope I helped...

childen should be allowed on yahoo they abviously have questions that are very important and need answers without criticism thats what the internet is for because they are obviously arent getting the answers at home, even though they have been exposed to some stuffand situations that they should not have been because they are too young . i was exposed really young to stuff that i should not have been and i wish that i had a place like yahoo to get answers maybe i would not have been so lonly in my thoughts, an im only 17.
