What is the best colour eyeshadow for green eyes (when I'm wearing a pink&orange dress) that will complement my eyes and maybe make them appear bigger?

Your best bet would be neutrals: brown and beige. Apply shadow of medium intensity (like a medium brown or a dark beige) all over you eyelid. Then take a dark brown to accentuate the crease of your eye and on you lower eyelid to create a smokey effect. The apply a light (preferably a shimmery) beige below the crease and near the arch of your eyebrows to create a dramatic contour of your eyes. You can also use, additionally to that, a dark brown eyeliner to accentuate the smokiness of your eye make-up.

You should not wear pink or orange eyeshadow to go with you pink and orange dress --- it's a little bit to 80's. Green eyeshadow to complement your green eyes would clash with your dress, as there would be too much color going on. Good luck!

Pink is actually a fun color for green eyes and smoky plum is awesome. Look at CRUSHED RUBY on this page for a great everyday shade that is natural looking but makes green eyes look luminous.

Blue is a BAD idea. So is purple.

I have a green-eyed friend who looks great in shimmery shades of taupe and brown. Gold is another good color for green eyes... you could even get away with delicate shades of green.

For green eyes, I'd go with pinks, purples, taupes, or the right shade of green. To play with some colors, go to my Virtual Makeover tool at my website, find a model closest to your skin and eye color and then LOVE your new look :-)

Go natural. I have never seen eye shadow on someone other than fashion magazines that looked good. Thank god, slate blue is out of Vogue
