How come Republicans hate our troops, and have huge tax cuts during war time.?

Our country doesnt have enought money to properly equip U.S. solders because they are giving huge tax breaks to wealthy when we are at war.

Another question is why did the Bush admin. want our troops to die by knowingly not sending in enough troops? Rumsfeld was told by many many Generals that he was not sending enough troops.

The military most always votes for Republicans so you can see what they really feel about Bush.
Saying that our country doesn't have money to properly equip soldiers is a popular myth.
If the GOP is the party of the rich, then why are so many Hollywood stars Democrats and not Republicans?
You also have to understand that most everyone earning less than $20,000 a year never pays a penny in taxes after they file their income taxes. So how can you give any more tax cuts to the poor?

If the rich pay the most in taxes, then how can you give tax cuts to the lower 50% when they pay less than 4% of all income tax?
And there were no tax cuts during Clinton's years in office, and we weren't at war either.

Good questions? Republicans have cut the Veterans Administration by two Billion Bucks in the last year, and then they act as if they care about the troops.

All the Republicans care about is power and money. They increase their wages by thousands and refuse to raise the minimum wage 5.30 cents/hour. They also give their selves large tax cuts while they destroy the GI Bill for Veterans.

They famously can't afford to equip our troops, but they like buying Hummers for themselves. Just a great political party, but the people are not invited.

A) Last time I checked the majority of Republicans support our troops alot more than the Libs that are anti-war.

B) Reaganomics. The more tax cuts the more people will spend because they have the money, that extra money then circulates, etc. In the end the government ends up getting MORE money from taxes after people buy things with the money that the government didn't gut their pay check for.

Because many Republicans love to act like they are for their country more than any one else, but when it comes down to what they do and what their politicians do, all that just goes out the window, and they figure if they put an American flag sticker or "I support our troops" sticker on their Toyota that it will make everything better. Actually Republicans generally give the most support and funding to our troops.
As for tax cuts, many Republicans follow the Supply-Side economic theory, in which when taxes are cut, there will be more money earned in the economy, and those who earn the most money will be more likely to earn more money, which in the end will provide more tax revenue.

Many people dont much realize or care that we are fighting a war and that thousands have died and more have been wounded, they would rather worry about consenting adults of the same sex getting married.

Actually, it's not REPUBLICANS that hate our troops....we are after all ALL Americans and we ALL support our troops. You are speaking more of the leaders of the REPUBLICAN party who are corrupt, money hungry and more so, power hungry. They obviously and sadly have no moral fiber for the hell our troops have been put into at the expense of ALL of us . Reps, Dems, independents, libertarians etc.
