Yea...it's pointless don't answer the question in the first place if you 'don't know' obviously you don't lol...your giving me a crappy answer...and your not helping me out lol. It's enevitable on here though and I'm sure it's quite tempting but that it's annoying as all hell when posting a serious question and getting 'I don't know' for an answer...they just do it for the shock value is all...you did know someone...a few people would do it though when you asked it's to be expected they got the points I guess that's all that matters right?

Well, some of the questions I've answered are asked to create chaos in ones mind. It's a "I don't know" question, but it still asks for an opinion. So, sometimes I start with "I don't know, but if it were me...." But I do get a little rigged when the answer is just "I don't know". At least they could give some insight as to why they don't know. Not very helpful at all. I don't think sitting on their hands would help, they should just search for another question that they do know something about.

I'd rather someone said so (and be done with it) rather than pussyfoot around to eventually saying "I dont know", or worse still, act like they know (eyes looking sideways) and give you a c o c k-n-bull answer. Wouldnt you?
Saying something else when you really dont know or dont want to say you know, is cruel. The question of "what really is going on here" arises if you think the person is avoiding giving you an answer you really need. Other than that, I dont know (so there!)
