No offense to Republicans, but in general terms, you guys don't think out of the box. Tend to be a little bit TOO IGNORANT about what's going on in the world, and are close minded.

This is the USA. We have the freedom to be idiots. That includes the President.

Oh yes! Clinton did such an amazing job when he wasn't boffing some ugly fat chick. You bleeding heart liberals constantly whine about Republicans this and Republicans that. Get over it! When Bush is done with this term, it'll be your chance to WOW us with the brain trust you nominate as your candidate.

Good luck with that.

As for Bush being an idiot: He may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but he's our President at the moment. I look forward to this next election, I'm sure the left will dazzle us with some brilliant wonderful new social programs to make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy...at the taxpayers expense.

nice try PIE'S Guy to answer a question with so many things wrong in it...
Oil is sky high expensive now so oil was not a reason to go there and yes, Saddam needed to be toppled...
Bush certainly knew that it would not be a quick and easy war, he said that many times even before 10 days had passed, so I don't know where you think you got information on that...
democrats dont think outside the box, they only want what they want... selfish people that are out of touch with reality...
if Bush is such an idiot, where were all the people on election day that should have voted him out without question?
and dont try to say 2000 and 2004 were voting conspiracies because 1)don't you think if it was fixed by the GOP that they would have made sure they won without having to count votes and 2)if elections are(were) fixed by Republicans, then how did we get stuck with Mr Perjury Clinton for eight years? the recession in 2001 started while Clinton was still in office... yes, he was in office until January 20, 2001...
EDIT
Mikey I came up with those observations myself, unlike a lot of democrats that want to delude and brainwash people into thinking otherwise.
But that is common human nature, always wanting to believe in conspiracy and controversy.

If you think that the Republicans are too well informed, then where are all the chemical/biological weapons that got us there in the first place. It seems to me that the only ones winning from this situation are BIG OIL (hmmm...don't the Bush's have a big stake in this?) and the defense contractors over there (let's see...does Cheney and Haliburton ring a bell?). We seem to have gotten into this war due to escalating oil prices, but we're "winning" (at least according to our government's position) and the oil companies are reporting historic profits. I could go on, but you know the rest. I don't think the President's and idiot, but I do think we are getting reamed.

Actually, Bush started the Iraq war, for oil, yes, to topple Hussein, yes...however, his intention was also to use Iraq as a guinea pig to show the rest of the middle east the "military might" of the U.S.
This however has failed. Bush thought that America would sweep in (like in desert storm) and annihilate Iraq in 100 days (like in Desert Storm). that is why he didn't care that our allies in Europe and around the world were not gone on the idea of a pre-emptive invasion of a sovereign nation, so Bush cavalierly did it on his own. Again, to show the might of America, so that other middle eastern countries could take heed and bow to the great and mighty America, thus our political stronghold on the middle east would be felt. He bit off more than he could chew, and made a disaster of it! Thus the answer to your question.

Dream Bree, I suggest you get into a twelve step program. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. She's in denial about how dangerously stupid Bush is. His policies, and his ideas ad nauseum are quite awful. We're still alive? Big whoop. Remember bozo Bush was in a children's classroom trying to read or something, while 9/11 was going on. Yeah, whatever!!!

Schufs! Your an idiot to believe that Republican crap. Pull your head out of the warm and dark place you call reality and open your eyes. Due some due diligence and find the truth. Listen to what all men do and not what they say. Greed is the motivating constant.
Jesus fricken Christ!

He has been born into privledge, he has never had to do anything for himself that was to difficult.
Until now.
And he is isolated, surrounded primarily with yes men who seek his approval, at least until just recently.

Hey Jill H., at least Kerry would know how to fight a war, although Im not sure if Kerry will be very relevant in '08.

No, the Republicans are all too well informed and that's why we are in the Middle East, and however painful it may be will be shown to have been the right course of action.
