well you can do a search for angel investors in your state as well as connect with local networking groups, speak to other small business owners with biz's similar to what you do. Be straight up, I was wondering if I could buy you and meal and ask you some questions about your biz and experience. Most people love to talk about themselves and their experiences, as well as a free meal isn't bad. Go to the schools in your area and speak to biz prefessors and mention "mentor resources".
