The last time I checked, it was a tie between English and Spanish. Mandarin language is the most spoken language.

Arabic, the language of Muslims, which has over 1 billion members. Pujabi is close with over 1 billion Indian residents mostly speaking it.

faux... cool tale: on the airplane the different day the guy next to me does no longer supply up talking to me in chinese yet I in simple terms kept nodding and smiling awkwardly and pretending to understand until eventually he requested a question. Then i ultimately reported i do not talk chinese.

Mandarin and not chinese is the most spoken lang, and after that we have english comin up.

After Mandarin, is English. Spanish is making great gains and may actually be tied for second at this point.
