I asked the question about the little white worms my angelfish tank has..........well 24 hours after the eggs was laid i removed the parents, so they couldn't have ate the fry. Could the worms have ate the fry?

It sounds like planaria. They are harmless to your fish and snails and should not be able to destroy the eggs. They are simply a sign of overfeeding. Not all overfed tanks get them, but for some reason a few do.

Planaria thrive on excess food. The only way to get rid of them is by starving them out. Cut back on feeding and they go away.

Yes the eggs or fry are probably gone. The worms are a parasite DO NOT PUT PARENTS BACK IN THE TANK . You will need to treat the water. any pet store should have stuff. It is dust in a little pill type bottle and you dilute it with water and treat your tank. the bottle should tell you but I think it's 24 hours before safe for fish again. No activated charcoal filters while treatments in the tank. Opps my spouse says if one fish died of parasites you need to treat water while fish is in the tank even if fish looks healthy may carry the parasite. This won't hurt fish, if fish is ok.

Overfeeding IS the cause. Not planaria. White worms are barely visible, thin, threadlike. Lots of water changes with deep gravel vacuums are the only way to get rid of them. They thrive in your substrate material but when too much uneaten food begins to add up in your substrate it deprives them of oxygen and they start up and down your tank walls, then free swimming/floating. You will see them occasionly jack nice or S shape to maneuver their direction. Harmless but gross and I would suggest starting your deep substrate vacuum immediately, and each time a water change make it a vacuum. At least 25% every other day til you get a handle on them. I hear your pain!

uhhh, your tank really shouldnt have worms. maybe im not understanding this question, but you need to remove any worms, theyre parasites, and will kill your fish.
