I was a young mother who was not married. When I look at the mothers I hope that they have their stuff together enough to not need to be on welfare. I hope at least the fathers are in the picture to help the mom out, and if they aren't, I hope that there is someone in the mom's life that she can go to for help. I hope the mom realizes that she doesn't have to get married to the father just because she is pregnant. I think that I hope the mom has enough sense not to use drugs, alcohol, cigarettes while pregnant. Then after all of this, I think that it was me who did all this and didn't think any better than to be the one I described above. I then pray that they do better than I did, and more importantly than anything love their baby more than anything in the world because at the end of the day, that is what matters.

I have had 2 kids with my bf of 6 years and there still are no wedding bells! I, of course, wish we were married and want to get married, but that isn't only for me to decide. I don't think there is anything wrong with unmarried pregnant moms. There are a lot out there!

My fiance is 34 weeks pregnant and we are not married yet and she is the best thing to ever come into my life and I wouldn't change her in any way. We plan to get married in September

I Think Everything Happens For A Reason. You Don't have to be married to be a Good Mother..
As Long as you take care of your baby you are a good person with or without a man..

I think that it doesn't matter if they're married. I think it matters if the father is in the picture. He should be. Unless he'd be nothing but a liability. I also hope any woman who is pregnant has a good support network of friends and family.

I think that they are still amazing women that will manage through life with the rest of us. They may have a harder time than those that are married, but we can't blame them for what happened, can we? They may or may not have made a mistake, but that doesn't mean we should look down on them in any way.

Very brave and earn my respect. Every woman whether single or married mother can tell you the hardship of bringing up a child

Personally I think they are brave enough to give birth to their child despite the fact that people may gossip behind them. As a unwed mother, they need support from their most beloved person like boyfriend, own family members.
Not forgetting if the guy have abondoned the lady, the lady need even more support from her own family members as she may have no one to turn to for help.

I think it's no one's business. MY fiance have 2 children and may possibly get married next year. My cousin was 18 when her mom and dad got married. It's not society's place to judge unmarried couples.
