Communist? We have won the Cold War if I'm not mistaken.
Terrorist? Sometimes, I think we act like terrorist in some countries. Terrorism is so subjective, isn't it?

Who's our enemy then?

First of all, Communism did not just die at the end of the Cold War; it simply went underground. Except for Communist China, which is a larger threat than the USSR ever was for the simple reason that the United States never depended on the USSR for anything, whereas we depend on Communist China for practically everything. Don't believe me? look at just about anything you can think of that was made in the last 10 years, and there's a 90-something percent chance that it says 'Made In China' somewhere on it.

Second, terrorism is only subjective to moral relativists, and moral relativism is so illogical that nothing can be done for people who persist in believing in it. The simple fact is: we didn't go over there and fly Saudi Airlines jets into the Grand Mosque of Mecca during Hajj and kill 5,000 people. They came here and murdered, in a premeditated fashion, in cold blood, about 5,000 people. They have already tried to take over the world twice, (one of those attempts sparked the crusades) and they have hated Americans and America since the Barbary Pirates incidents in the 1790's. They've been planning to overthrow the United States for over 200 years! They just never had the resources (money, brains, or guts) to do anything about it until recently, when OUR cars have been giving them the money, OUR schools have been giving them the brains and their irrational, unrelenting, eternal hatred for OUR allies, Israel, has awoken within them the guts.

But I digress.

To answer your question, if you REALLY want to see the true enemies of America, look in the mirror. You, I, we are the true enemies of America. Everytime we pass the buck instead of stopping it right where it is, everytime we ask what our country can do for us instead of what we can do for it, every time we fear something other than fear itself, every time we question the wisdom or the motives of the Founders, every time we question or attempt to undermine the solidity or the sturdiness of the foundation that Providence led them to build this great nation on, every time we allow ourselves to be whatever we are or whatever we feel like being or whatever we want to be instead of being everything we CAN be, everytime we weaken the security of the blessings of liberty and threaten them for ourselves and for posterity, WE become a cancer that is eating away at the soul of liberty and justice for all. Because, when it comes down to it, ALL once great civilizations committed suicide. I do not agree with everything (sometimes, but not often, anything) Michael Savage says, but his bestseller 'The Enemy Within' hit the problem right on the head, in spirit of not in letter. I have seen the enemy, and IT IS US!!!

As Pogo said "We have met the enemy and they are US"

Religious fundamentalists/fanatics of any religion.
Greedy short-sighted money grabbing corporations. They control what we read, hear and view. Want an example- how 'bout Rupert Murdoch? He owns MySpace, Fox, TV Guide,Harper Books and Magazines, 20th Century Fox Movies & TV, 24different TV stations in every major US city. You get the idea.
And he's just one guy. So think about the few people who own or control just about everywhere you get your information.

The bush administration.....really, they have lied to us. They have failed at so many foreign policy issues that it is staggering! We get the multi-trillion dollar deficit hoisted on US...watch and see. Domestically, bush (unlike his campaign promises to be a strong domestic policy leader, he has failed at this as well...medicare D, No child left behind, poor environmental policies, Katrina response, spying on U.S. citizens (illegally), Gitmo, breaking the Geneva conventions, the patriot act...Bush has been successful at polarizing America from most of the world, and worst, he has polarized us from each other. I honestly feel Bush and his corporate cronies as well as his administration are our real enemy.....all for money and power...yet we the average American citizen has to pay the price. Once he is out of office, the problems he has created don't just evaporate into thin air.

America is its own enemy. If you want to end terrorism, stop practicing it. If you want to defeat terror then stop living in fear. Osama bin Laden is a man living in a cave somewhere in the Middle East. If you think Al-qaeda is your enemy then declare war on the institution itself and eliminate it.

Islamic fundamentalists...for now. Terrorism is subjective, but last time I checked we didn't kill 3000 civilians in a single blow out of hatred for their way of life.

The Freemasons. No, we haven't killed 3000 in a single blow, we like to draw it out over years so no one can count how many.
