That lady must be afraid her son is not very good at his job because she is mad about the thought of a draft because someone might take his job.

Learn to be mean back!

I'd at least like to point out if her son got into the army to learn to break people's arms and legs and not help them, he should probably take up base jumping naked.

EDIT: Jill H has a good point. I cannot recall any time that a single Republican has reinstated the draft in the last hundred years.

EDIT #2: I'm sorry Kathy O. I really didn't mean to get in the way of big oil's crusade for profits in the middle east. Maybe I'll just be quiet while skin head recruitment increases in the army!*

That isn't a Republican, that's a Conservative. Get it right.

You see, there is nothing wrong with Republicans. As a matter of fact, they were originally for the people. It's the Conservatives that are the problem. Mostly blue-bloods and white collars. Further right are inbred hillbillies, closeted gays, sambos, Klansmen (Jacksonian Democrats), and Fox News junkies. Coombs, who you're reffering to, is a Conservative. They don't represent all Republicans.

We're not and if you pay attention you'd realize the draft is not going to be reinstated by a republican. And, people every where can be mean, that's why we learn at an early age to ignore them and feel sorry for them that they are so unhappy with themselves that they have to take it out on others.

Republicans are not mean (average). They are at least 1 standard deviation to the right on the Bell curve.

So, you-know-who must be at least 1 standard deviation to the left.

We have a 100% volunteer military. there is no need or plan to start a draft. republicans are not the ones spitting on our soldiers, and calling them baby killers, and praising the throat cutting terrorists. liberal democrats are helping the enemy. it's called treason. you make me sick.

...But how do you know that lady is republican?

Anyway, I know plenty of mean democrats. There are mean people of all political affiliations...

When it comes to debating the issue of abortion, wow... The people pro-choice resort to all sorts of name-calling and accusations, right from the start. They accuse people of misogyny and pushing religion, and then resort to all sorts of slander...

Republicans can be mean. So can democrats, totalitarians, socialists, etc.

Well, because that one woman speaks for ALL REPUBLICANS I have to assume it's because she's stressed out finding the words to express the sentiments of tens of thousands of people.

Most of them praise brutality and survival of the fittest, much like animals

So...your son is mean, is that what you're saying? Why was this "mean woman" mean? For stating an opinion? This is America, after all.
