Uh, sorry to whoever said it, but Taylor Swift and Katy Perry CAN'T SING. Listen to them live, sweetheart. Egh. Or, if you value your life, don't. Just, egh. Anyway. People seem to judge quality of voice on range, and look at higher notes, because they're harder to hit, so, yeah: WOMEN. But men can have impressive range, too. Seriously, not to be an annoying fangirl-Gleek-dwerb, but Chris Colfer's "Defying Gravity"-- AMAZING. A lot of times, as in there, a guy's falsetto sounds so much prettier than a girl's chest voice. AND the power they can put in lower notes that girls can't is awesome, in all kinds of genres. Even then, lots of male singers can hit notes some women can't, like Adam Lambert. Women also have their perks, though. When sung right, a not like an F5, or around there, can sound beautiful. And women are generally more emotional than men, and more emotion in singing can be a plus, again, when done right. Adele is a great example. But then, it's as if just because the range is higher, they're better singers, which is not necessarily true in some cases. I think it's a little unfair to ask that question. It's like, what gender does the world need more? o.O It's easy to pick out the best singers from each gender, I suppose. But you can't really compare them to each other fairly, because they're so different, and have different characteristics and qualities that make them good individually. Maybe that wasn't very helpful. It's a pretty hard question. I can't make up my mind, sorry. :)

Frank Sinatra and Peter Lawford sang it in the movie "It Happened in Brooklyn" (1947)
I believe, I believe,
I believe in wishing wells,
But I also believe in a lot of things,
things the daisy tells,
I believe, I believe that a four-leaf clover brings,
Lots of luck, lots of joy, lots of happiness,
I believe those things.........
I haven't been able to find the Sinatra album it is on. But i'll keep looking.
