Treat others the way you want to be treated. Learn to forgive because it cuts down on stress. You wouldn't want people interfering with your happiness, so why would you interfere with someone elses? When you hurt someone, apologize, don't make excuses. Don't be afraid to admit when you don't know something, as admittance may lead to a chance to learn it. Your family name is your crest, keep it clean, as your father did, and his father did. If he didn't, then clean it up. Your siblings have to share your name, and some day you may have kids and they will share your name, especially if you stay in one area throughout your life, you want your name respected, not abhorred.

Live every second that you get. Remind yourself everytime when you are depressed that "This is your life, you've made it this far". Buck up and face the storm rather than hiding from it. You'll be surprised to see how the storm buckles down to your determination and vanishes. The fruits of success are sweet. Taste them.

I think if you're always honest in every aspect of your life you'll have fewer problems in life. Also, people will respect you and see you as someone of strong character.
