If you could pick any LARGE animal (such as an elephant) and make it as small as a house pet, which would you pick and why?

I would pick two giraffes, one male, one female, so that they have company. Would love to have two small giraffes moving about the house. I find giraffes so cute and am sure they'll make nice pets.
Thanks for this question, never thought of such a thing. :-) It kind of gave me a warm feeling

Definitely a large bird of prey, like a golden eagle or a raven.
Having a fearsome predator small enough to sit on my shoulder would be fun.

Elephant, shrunk down to housecat size. That would be soooo cool! I could walk him and he could carry my newspaper in his trunk.
