no stds here but my periods last for real long... im not talkin days im talkin weeks... or months even... been to the doctors like 1 million times now and they cant seem to find a cause for this... i wont see them for like 5 months but when they decide to appear they wont stop. i am very anaemic i have gotten so much blood soo many times i feel like i am wasting it. they say my blood doesnt clot in time (hemphilia) i was put on birth control to regulate my hormones but i build a tollerance to it in a month so thats no good... i need help im tired of being in the hospital.

i have been to quite a few doctors now 4 to be exact but they think its some other blood problem i forgot the name but u kno all these doctor expenses r coming outta pocket cuz i have foreign insurance

Do you have any pain with the bleeding? I have a friend who had something similar and it was endemetriosis. (not sure if that is spelled right.) It is like scar tissue around your female parts. Did your doctor do an ultrasound? If not I would go to a different doctor. Hope this helped:)

I went on birth control about a year and a half ago. My first- third periods were very heavy and VERY long. Sometimes lasting an entire month. After about my 4th, they stopped completly. My doctor said that was normal. Maybe that can help you, I'm not sure.

wow that is a toughie
i am not sure of the relevance of hemophilia relating to large periods
but it can happen
there is nothng you can do for hemophilia
you should be taking iron pills
they will figure out a way to get your periods regulated and that should fix the problem

Take Vitamin E every day. Also take Iron pills once a day. I have that problem to, and there is nothing else that help me. I'm also very tired and have problems concentrating at work. Good luck!

WILL HAVE YOU EVER HAD A TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND? ITS POSSIABLE THAT YOU MAY HAVE FIBROID IN YOUR UTERUS. IF SO, AND YOU DONT HAVE FIBROID OR CYST. I KNOW AT MY OFFICE THEY CAN PUT YOU ON DIFFRENT BIRTHCONTROL METHODS TO CONTROL THE BLEEDING. ALSO MY FRIEND I HOPE YOUR DOCTOR HAS BEEN DRAWING BLOOD CBC CHECKING FOR ANEMIA DUE TO THE LOSS BLOOD GOOD LUCK
