The three forms of read are all spelled the same:
I read (as in present tense)
I have read (past tense, pronounced "red")
I will read (future).
Hope this helps. :)

Actually, all three forms are spelled read. However, you are correct that the past is pronounced like red. So is the third form, the past participle.
So it is read, read, read, reading, prounounced reed, red, red, reeding.
Hope this helps.

Probably for one of the following reasons: 1. The author didn't want the story for e-readers yet. 2. The publisher didn't want the story for e-readers yet. 3. It is available, but possibly by another website. (Like maybe the first stories went through Amazon, and now the publisher decided to go through Barns and Nobles.) 4. It's not written yet. 5. The author and/or publisher has had problems with e-readers, so has decided to skip that avenue of publication.

No, it's read in the past, it is pronounced red, but it is spelt read. Using "ee" and "e" to distinguish the pronunciations:
I reed
I am reeding
I red
I did reed
I have red
I will have red
I will reed
I will be reeding
etc, etc, etc. But in each case, the word is actually spelt "read".

no, red is color, and never spelled like the verb.
Simple Present: They read (pronounced reed)
Present Perfect: They have read (pronounced like the color red)
Simple Past: They read (pronounced like the color red)
Past Perfect: They had read (pronounced like the color red)
Future: They will read (pronounced reed)
Future Perfect: They will have read (pronounced like the color red)
