Hi all,

Many thanks for responding to my questions earlier. Well here is my story. I was diagnosed with PCOS. Doc suggested clomid with metformin. Got my last period on 24th June, started clomid on 26th till the 30. I did the "DEED" on the following days:
1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th.

My boobs were hurting me yesterday and day before(its much less today).

So can anybody tell me if i am Preg, when did i ovulated.. what are my chances... i would keep adding on details to the questions if u have any queries..

P.S: I will be on metformin till the 27th of July.

thanks a bunch..

Ovulation when your on Clomid usually occurs around five to 10 days after you finish your last tablet.

You may very well become pregnant, although I'm not sure if the sore breasts would be a side-effect of the Clomid or if they are indicative of pregnancy. It could be either.

I advise you to take a pregnancy test on the day that your period is due, to find out.

I'm going to include the link to a trying to conceive forum that has a support group for women on Clomid. It's full of supportive women with boundless knowledge about these issues. I learnt so much there that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise.

Normal ovulation occurs approximately 7-10 days after the 1st day of your last period, but, obviously since you have PCOS that does not necessarily apply to you - which is why, I'm sure, your doctor prescribed the clomid & metformin. Sore breasts can be an indicator of pregnancy, but it can also be an indicator of ovulation and/or an upcoming period. So, if you're not pregnant, just be careful. First, when you're trying to conceive, you should NOT have sex too often. Every other day during ovulation is generally the recommendation. Also, be sure that if you don't conceive, your doctor performs an ultrasound, since clomid causes ovarian cysts. Take it from me, you don't want them - they're EXTREMELY painful & if you do get them, you cannot do another cycle of clomid right away - so be aware!

I always thought that we ovulated and the eggs poped out but werent mature enough.so the cyst is caused by the egg poping out right?Th meds mmake you have more cysts, good luck getting pregnant.

I think u should concentrate more on your pregnancy, as of now.
So go for test immediately for confirmation as all other things are arbitrary.
Once it is confirmed, rest of your problems can be easily tackled.
