I believe that is true. Although some men go overboard with their need for respect and become abusers. I do feel that is standard in a loving spiritual relationship.

We tend to respect men who are respectable. Most men want to be respected because they think they should be, no matter what.
I respect a man who treats me like a woman and as such, the 'weaker' sex. Stands up for me to the kids; takes care of mechanical things for me; lets me be his partner in decisions, which ultimately he will decide. My second 'not a husband' does everything in the world to be disrespected, and then wants me to respect him? Make me laugh. He's a spoiled introverted autistic mammas boy. Any lookers?

i think both men and women want both.. i do think men do need more RESPECT assurance and Women need more assurance in the LOVE department but nonetheless i think they both want to be respected and loved..

Yes and no . a good girl the kind you want to take home to mom and dad want to be respected , and that is the kind you want.
Good boys the kind a girl wants to take home to mom and dad and be proud of wants to be respected.

depends on the person.. some men are ******* pricks who **** anything thats moves, some girls are sluts and do same thing
