i don't have kids but when i do eventually have them, i don't want their names to be typical, names that are common.
i want my kids to have some foreign name that knowones heard before...a name that isn't heard of a lot. ppl will be like, "oh that's such a pretty name!!!"

I think that unusual names as long as the fit the child's personality make them unique to themselves and others. Please don't name them something like happy Easter I have a best friend with that name and I grew up with a very unusual name we were both teased all through grade school buy all of the Mary's and Sue's
so you have to find a happy medium. But for my choices I would go with Willow for a girl and Henry for a boy they are both eclectic and unusual.

For my youngest daughter, we went to the website: http://www.babycenter.com/general/babynaming/pregnancy/1459677.html
and found a list of the 100 most popular names for the year. Then my daughter and I picked the names we both liked from the list. Then we narrowed it down to the 10 names we really liked and finally talked it over with my husband. The three of us found we liked one name on the list and that's the name of our youngest daughter.
