Given that this problem arises after some time, it sounds like a progrssive buildup of data in your internet browser's cache folder.

Open your browser tools>internet options.
1. In the Temporary Internet Files box, clear your files by clicking "Delete Files."
2. Click on the "Settings" tab next to the "delete files" tab. In this new dialog box, reset the slide bar for your amount of disk space to use. You should increase the amount to use, but you don't have to up it all the way. Increasing it by 50% is a good start, and you can bump it again if it still runs slow.
3. You can also reduce the number of days to store web-pages or change the settings to update pages, but that should not be causing much of your problem.

Additionally, you might want to run a defragmentation when you have some time.

Those two steps should help a little.

Assuming you do not have a bunch of programs running in the background and that you have checked for spy ware, adware, and viruses one thing to check is your case temperature. One of the first signs of overheating is a general system slowdown. If all of your programs are working well this may not be your problem, but it is one of the easiest to check.Make sure all of your fans are working and clean, and if you can try running with the case open for a few hours to aid in cooling. If everything works at normal speed you may need to add a fan.

Well, I have no idea what kind of computer you have, so I'm just gonna try here. You can clear your cache and see if that's the problem there. If you find that after clearing your cache does improve speed for your computer, then do it daily. You may also have a virus. Go to www.stopsign.com to get a free virus scan.

Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

Try scanning for spy-ware and scan for viruses. Maintain your computer also by defraging at least twice a month. Also do a disk clean and disk scan once a month.
