I dropped it HARD, and now the screen on the outside is craked real bad. The inside screen is not cracked but the display is discolored now.

Is this a broken LCD which is not covered by insurance. What do you suggest I do besides stop being so damn clumsy?

Did you buy the insurance for $2.99 a month? If you did then you can get another one. You mentioned insurance, if what you have does not cover damage but it covers theft, then I suggest that you have it stolen real fast.

It depends on where you bought your cell phone. All companies have limits as to how long you have to return/exchange your phone. If you purchased your phone at a retailer that is only a vendor/partner with Cingular, you stand a better chance of exchanging it than if you purchased it from Cingular itself.

If you are not able to exchange it and your insurance doesn't cover it, you are looking at several hundred dollars to replace it. Or you can purchase a Cingular To Go phone and put your SIM card into it, call Cingular and do an IMEI swap on it and be back in business until you are eligible for your upgrade.

Well if you have only had it for two weeks. I would take it back and try exchanging it. But if you wanted to try something else and you have insurance on the phone then just call them and tell them that it was stolen. That way you will get a new Razr phone and youll still have your old one just incase you want to sale it.

usually they only cover if the phone is bad internally not physically. now if you feel comfortable fixing it yourself the link below has the parts you need for about $15 total with shipping i have done this before if you dont feel comfprtable have a friend do it or a phone shop hope this helps

No, they will not replace it because it has liquid damage. Your best bet is to sell it on eBay for parts, and buy a new phone.

Toss your phone somewhere and say you lost it...Download any of your files (pix, contacts, etc...) via bluetooth...

Good luck
