Problems with the authority and credibility of your sources:

Absence of Balance: “Human Events” editorial board does not even PRETEND to be fair and balanced in their “reporting”.

1.“Human Events” is not a national newspaper. Rather, it is a propaganda vehicle for right-wing American extremists.

The author of the story wrote about the work to date of the SPP. The problem is all he really was told is that "we shuffled some papers here...and then we shuffled other papers there...and some folk over there agreed with some other folk...I think...yep...they were there to see those people with THOSE papers. He got "the brush off", in other words. Read below and tell me if that's not the impression you also get:

"In carrying out your instructions, we established working groups under both agendas of the Partnership -- Security and Prosperity. We held roundtables with stakeholders, meetings with business groups and briefing sessions with legislatures, as well as with other relevant political jurisdictions. The result is a series of detailed actions and recommendations designed to increase the competitiveness of North America and the security of our people.

[Ms. Word] confirmed by telephone that the membership of these “working groups” had not been published, not even on the Internet. Neither have minutes or transcripts of the many meetings with “stakeholders” and others been published, nor the “actions and recommendations” of the working groups. This revelation prompted a Freedom of Information Act request designed to bring these materials into the light of congressional public scrutiny. I also cannot find U.S. congressmen or senators who will identify any specific congressional examination or oversight that have been exercised over these SPP working groups that apparently have been convened to implement what amounts to only a joint press release declared from the trilateral summit in Waco.

Can’t you see that no one wants to deal with him because everyone thinks he’s an idiot? He can’t get one single interview from anyone at all to support his allegation that “the North American] sky is falling”!!!!! He can find NO supporting documentation, EITHER.

The most damming evidence showing him up a “propagandist and agitator” ironically turns out to be his own “evidence” of a conspiracy found at the SPP US government’s own website:
http://www.spp.gov/report_to_leaders/index.asp?dName=report_to_leaders

He REALLY should have paid close attention to the following three paragraphs excerpted from this document which was published about one year ago– but he failed to do so because he is incompetent in his job (in other words, no respectable well-known national newspaper would ever hire such a cowboy.

“To make North America secure for the future, we need integrated, coordinated and seamless measures in place at, within, and beyond our borders to provide our people and our infrastructure with the highest possible common level of protection from terrorists and other criminal elements, as well as from the common threats of nature.

To make North America prosperous for the future, we need to improve the efficiency of the movement of people, goods and services crossing our borders. We must remove barriers to trade, investment, research and education. We must protect our environment and promote the health and safety of our people.

Increased economic integration and security cooperation will further a unique and strong North American relationship - a relationship that meets your stated goals while preserving our political and cultural identities.”

Plus: there is NOTHING about this topic on the CBC (Fifth Estate) website because it is NON-Story. The Fifth Estate is highly credible. Hmmm…what happened there I wonder?
