Well according to my culture a dream in which you die or someone else dies usually means that good fortune lies ahead..
when you dream of someone or u eating meat, now thats believed to be a bad omen

Its said to be bad omen bcos most of the time the dreams stems from ur consciois or sub concious mind.

And often mind is so powerful that it can at times see things from future also.

But its also true that of the many things in ur mind only few relate to future.

So it isnt necessary that all dreams 2 come true.

Also its nice to see dreams like that cos u get really scared and when u discover ur alive u feel happy.

I am no psychologist or deeply rooted philosopher but I wouldn't worry about omen. if you believe in omen or karma take the concept equal output into consideration, let go of the superstition behind the concept. If you are a negative person negativity seems to find you. If you are a positive person who looks up as much as possible good things find you. If you stress about bad things happening to you because your mind randomly selected a though of death while you were sleeping all things negative that look like they point to death will find you. You will fear life itself because of your superstition. remember, perception IS reality. Dont take that the wrong way. Let go of the mystery and delve into self observation and improvement

Its happen to me several times..but still dreams are dreams,it just a nightmare. I don't believe in anything concern to omen. Best of all : don't believe in omen if u don't wanna be superstitious.
