yes the government can just take your computer if they so wish, with the new terrorism laws if they suspect you.

What are you talking about freedom of speech? there is no such thing.
Yahoo do a good job of deleting content deemed to be inappropitite pritty quickly anyway.

I'm not sure I follow the point of your question. If you are asking whether statements made in this forum were protected speech, then the answer is yes to the extent you are talking about government regulation of speech. However, the First Amendment only applies to government actions and does not protect you if Yahoo edits or censors your questions or answers in this forum.

Well, your sure proof that freedom of speech exists. If it didn't exist you would not be able to stand out on the street to play your music . Hence, you have made it into a commercial venture, so think of it this way, even though you have to claim income tax on your collections you have the freedom to deduct business deductions, such as guitar strings, harmonicas, guitars, tambourines, stage clothing, make-up, cigarette props, shoe repair, medications if needed to perform, permits if required, union dues, license fees, legal fees ( if being sued for performance ) , so see it's a win, win situation, as taxes support our freedom of speech, the war in Iraq, corporate welfare, roads to sing on , and all kinds of pork barrel projects.

considering it's a private server, though in a public forum, you are not protected, you can say whatever you want
and Yahoo is free to delete the content when ever they feel like for what ever reason, even if they choose not to give any reason at all, as for Government seizing your computer, if they perceive a threat, that's all it would take and I doubt Yahoo would fight it .
