One person suggested that I try spy doctor. I tried it, and it had brought up 944 objects. I was preparing to click on Fix and Finish when a box popped up from spy doctor that said that it recommended OnGuard browser protection so I clicked OK, which proved to be a mistake. Three boxes popped up on the right of my screen that said something about finding a BHO browser. The boxes now are simply spaces there that stay on top and have parts of my screen saver showing on them. I can't get rid of them, and my computer is very slow now. I tried to uninstall spy doctor, but couldn't get it off. I have the AT&T Yahoo! browser, and I think that that has something to do with it. AT&T is my provider, and AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet is my homepage. HELP! Any suggestions?

I'd go to "search" on your computer..files and folders...then type in "elite"...see what comes up (any files under elite) and then right click "delete" and see if that helps.

Hmm..I didn't read the original responses to your question, but I think you may have mistaken "Spy Doctor", which is a rather suspect piece of software, with the much more highly recommended "Spyware Doctor". Clever of them to use a similar name to push a questionable product, wasn't it?
The solution is to download a legitimate product - maybe SpyWARE Doctor, but I'd also recommend either Spybot A&D or Ad-Aware, or even just Microsoft's Windows Defender. When you have downloaded the necessary software, restart your computer in SAFE MODE and run the spyware remover that you have downloaded.
If you're not familiar with how to start your computer in safe mode, I've linked an article that explains how to get into safe mode in any flavor of Windows. If you're still having trouble, you'll need to visit one of the many helpful online communities where expert members will help you use a program like "Hijack This!" to clean up your spyware mess.

Okay, try this: reboot, that will take care of the persistent boxes, and may help with the slow reactions. Then go to download.com and get Spybot Search & Destroy - I don't know about this spy doctor, but Spybot is one of the programs I use myself, and have for years. Once it's installed, update for the very newest info then run that. It doesn't do any ads, does not create any popups, and it's free.
You'll probably get a whole load of results - delete whatever Spybot doesn't like, then run it again. (It wouldn't surprise me if pop.elitemediagroups is one of the things it looks for, actually, so that could kill two birds with one stone) Once it's clean, click on "Immunize" to have them block some of the nastier stuff that wants to take up residence on your computer.
Then go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com and do a full virus scan, and start looking for a good anti-virus program. If you need to have a free one, I've heard that AVG is pretty good, as well as Microsoft's AV program, but I use Norton myself.

Yeah I in all probability could. The factors make it greater relaxing. I basically choose like 30 greater till now i'm at point 3. Edit: i'm six factors faraway from point 3 and that i will't vote or answer any further questions. So troublesome!

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.
Other things to try:
1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)
