When I was about 14 or 15, (Im 21 now), I went to the doctor and he asked me about the line across my nose. I didnt know where it came from. He asked if I rubbed my nose alot (from a runny nose), my mom said yes. He then prescibed some sinus medication and surely enough in a few months the line disappeared. It was because I was constantly rubbing my nose. *I dont know if this is the same for you or not but it might help, if so.
However you can make it go away yourself by using skin fladers/bleaches or lighters...
You can use any product that contains "Hydroquinone". Im mixed but it works great no matter what race you are. It is a skin bleach, but it is mild enough if under 4% to get off blemishes (dark spots) and not burn you. I was first prescibed 4% by my doctor (dermatologist) but you can get 2% at almost any drug store (Walgreens, CVS), Walmart or On-line.
Here is a list of over 200 different skin lighters (wait for page to load, its comming...)

Some of these are 'pricey." But, if you go to your doctor, your insurance will probably cover it for free and you'll probably end up with a stronger one than you can buy at the store.
Hope I have helped.
Here's something quick, you can pick up at any drug store.

I don't know how it got there, but Mary Kay has a product called "even complexion essence", if you use that for few weeks it will get rid of dark spots on skin and will give even tone skin. Go to http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/whatsnew/newproducts/complexionessence.aspx?tab=whatsnew and you can read more about it

I don't know how to make it go away, but I know that my sister has one because when she was little she always used to wipe her nose, with her hand, upwards. It made a crease in her nose--that crease left a mark.
