veering can be caused by low pressure in the tire. loose steering means steering links may need to be checked...re-grease the bushings and make sure it's all tight...also maybe the steering gearbox is going out. take it to a good mechanic

I would take it right back where the alignment was done and raise hell.Obviously it was not test driven after the alignment was done and it sounds like they may have left something loose. Be careful!!. And the guy that says veering is normal after an alignment is hhmmmm I,ll be nice here well he,s incorrect.

veering is normal after wheel alignment. Check tire pressure. You will feel this for at least a week. If symptoms persist. Return your car to your favorite mechanic.
