When you write poetry, you want to create an image for the reader. You want the reader to see in their minds what is being described in the poem. You're trying to make the image come to life basically.

Yeah. U need to look at the descriptive words used that help you to create an image that the poem's talking about.

when you read the words of a poem, what picture is created in your mind? that is the image in poetry.
