America isnt a bully.

They are a teenager who thinks they can sort the worlds problems.

worst thing is, they are helping create some along the way. I mean for farks sake, look how corrupt the whole damn world is and stop blaming EVERYTHING on america.

I hate how what america has is what the world wants, and it is. which is very bad, cos americas society is no better or worse than any others in many ways.

Oh yeah your richer, sorry i forgot. 2.4 children and the dream is what life is about. more money more movies. a car. learn to drive. show your buddies how cool you are.

You think this kinda crap is only happening in america.

The only difference is that america advertise and have so much more of that crap.

A lot of third world countrys want it. WHY.

The standard of life should be better but its not. Starve or get filled full of chemicals and preservatives.

Yessiree bob. the world is filled full of choice.

Im sure everyones heart is in the right place its just a shame the goverments heart is firmly sucking the life away.

Terrorisim. PAH. as if this is new.

Britain has and still is going thru this crap way before all this islam holy war shite began to be publicised.

The IRA was bombing london and many other places for YEAARS (im sure for over 50) but as soon as 9/11 comes along we have to go and name 7/7 or whatever it is..... many places around the world have had the same crap. this is not new.

America is not a bully. They are a cool teenager, and they are leading lots of people down a bad road.

The kind of guy who deals lots of drugs and weed and wears the coolest clothes, walks into a party and EVERYONE wants to talk to him. and he smiles and talks back.

But he doesnt care, he just want to make a damn living to raise the standard of life.

Yes. There was a recent poll that shows a majority of people in a number of European countries consider the US to be a greater threat to world peace than Iran. (Sorry, I don't have a reference to that poll right now). Also, I spend a lot of time in China and almost everyone here that I talk to thinks that the US is nothing but a Big Bully. Quite frankly, (and very sadly) it's almost embarrassing to say I am an American.

Yes the US is seen as a big bully. Americans have a bad reputation in other countries because of their lack of good conduct and for their government's activities. America bullies all the underdogs especially third world countries and takes advantage of them. But truthfully, I think America is looked down upon behaviour-wise.

In some ways I think America should mind it's own business and stop bothering other countries but then again, how do I know if what they/we do is only preventative to protect ourselves.

Canada doesn't seem to bother anyone and unless I am wrong they aren't usually too afraid of terrorism or problems from other countries, should we follow there lead?

That's like asking if police seem like bullies to criminals. The US tries to keep peace. When countries go against the rulings and agreements with NATO, it's not just the USA that gets involved, but we get all the blame.

Only to those countries who refuse to accept Westernized (US) democracy. I personally don't think of the US as a bully. My sister-in-law has an American boyfriend and he's cool....it's some American foreign policies that I feel are bully-ish.

Not so much....no. The U.S. is resented by other countries who operate (poorly too, I might add) under governments that are either not democratic as ours or are far more chaotic and disorganized as ours.

And we in the U.S. have what other countries want.....and they're too many to name here. But one thing we have they don't: Rock n' Roll (but they have rap.....and they can have ALL the rap too for all I care).
