I doubt he'll make any more movies, however; a Star Wars television show is currently in the works. Check out this link

Yes it will be. I am a really big Star Wars fan and love Star Wars. Anyway now when the six movies are done George Lucas has decided to make episode 7-9, the first one will be done about 2020. The reason George want to wait 15 years is because it was about 15 years between episode 6 and 1. While we wait on episode 7 there will be some new Star Wars TV-series. And if 7-9 are successful they will maybe do 10-12. And George gonna let the work on the new Star Wars movies to a guy called SuperShadow. And, yes I really want Star Wars to be forever and I don't want it to end.

I would be excited, but he already made 6. By the time anoyone wants to make a remake of the new ones, George will be dead!
And as for movies 4-6, I doubt that they could ever make a new version that was better than the older one; the characters like Han Solo and Obi Wan are what made those movies a success. They wont ever be able to find better actors to play them. Besides, too many devoted Star Wars fans, if they made a remake, they may throw a fit! :p

He says no, and after seeing these last three, I'd tend to say, "thank you". I'd like to see someone else make the 3rd trilogy, so I don't have to hear lines like, "Where did the mitichlorians come from, Mr, Qui-gon, sir?" again.
Geez, did he let a bunch of 4th graders write all the dialogue in these three prequels? Can you imagine how much each would suck if they took out the movie ending light sabre duels from each one?
The third prequel did as well as it did, not because of the first 2, but in spite of them. Fans have been anticipating the volcanic light sabre duel since we all heard they were even going to make these prequels.

It would be nice to make other star war films, but I think he ended the the whole saga well. As a star wars fan, I think he should leave it alone and move on to other movies. Star wars had its time to shine for more that 2 decades now.

Well in the whole Star Wars story, there are 3 more (7,8,9) and maybe one day he'll make them but the best parts of the Star Wars stories has already been told on screen.

Nah, he'll probably continue the saga between Episode III and IV, as same with the other 3, in the animated series Clone Wars.

No - because even though he wishes he could to maybe regain some of his lost glory, he doesn't have anything else.
Plus, he's got the money, and he doesn't care about our opinion anyways. He's got lots of people he's surrounded with that reinforce the vision that he has of himself.
HOW IN HECK could Pirates of the Carribean 2 beat the crap out of the opening weekends of all of the Star Wars movies! (individually)

It's a little more difficult to do. He made them in reverse. In theory we should get 3 more as he had wanted to do. I'm not sure but am hopeful. At the same time, it would be a kill joy to only get 1 more and not all 3 more.

Please, God, no more Star Wars!!!
George Lucas doesn't need any more money and I cannot sit though one more episode of this garbage. My husband is a big SW fan, and I sat through everyone of these god-awful "movies". I really want to die now!!!
Oh no, maybe there will be some more Lord of The Rings...I really, really want to die now.
