Bush stood up to and fought back with the terrorists. The way Kerry talks he probably would not have retaliated in the same strong way and we may have had a much more dire situation with terrorism.
How can you have evidence? - Kerry was not elected (thankfully)
And, yes, it doesn't bother you that Kerry outright does not support our troops, and NEVER revealed a specific plan for Iraq?
Just the worst kind of two-faced spineless politician.
Kerry had so much foolish rhetoric and changed his mind to whatever he thought people wanted to hear. At least you know where Bush stands whether or not you agree. If you don't like Bush Kerry would have been scary bad.

Don't start working yourself up into dither again, Bush is not going to start another war to kill the bad guys. The terrorists may be real and out there trying to nail us, but they are not going to destroy us. The only people who have the ability to destroy America is other Americans.
We would not have been attacked on 9-11 if Gore would have been President. It was Bush that sat on the explicit warning and played President until the towers came down.
Then he took advantage of the situation and started on his nightmare scenario of a World War to kill all the bad in the world.
Well, guess what. All the bad guys did not report for their Proper killing, and we are now stuck with a million jihad's after us and our lunch.
What America has to do is find real leadership and excommunicate the neo-cons from the Government for good.

I didn't like Kerry and didn't support him.
But the real truth is, throughout our history, during time of war our American presidents have all stepped up and did what they believed was right for our country against attacking nations.
I really believe Kerry would not have backed down. Nor would have McCain or Gore or Dole or any for the candidates in the past decade who could have been president.
(Disclaimer: With the possible exception of Ross Perot. Who knows how he would have reacted?)

Isn't it incredible how we had 8 amazing years under Clinton, and 5+ amazingly crappy years under Bush, yet conservatives have the gall to pretend that things would be worse with a Democrat in the White House.
Sorry, you right-wing nutsos, but the proof is in the pudding. Your conservative policies are:
destroying the Middle East (gosh, you don't hear much talk about how Democracy is flourishing there anymore, do you?)
impoverishing the working class (between rising health and energy costs and stagnent wages, 40 MILLION families are struggling to get by, all the while Bush crows about how well the economy is doing)
burying us in red ink (funny, isn't it how the Democratic president BALANCED the budget, while the Republicans have all done nothing but mismanage the government and bury us in red ink).
stripping away our freedoms and privacies (odd that the party the allegedly opposes big government is the one that reads our mail and e-mail, taps our phones, and monitors our bank accounts).
Proof is in the pudding, baby.

If Kerry were elected as president it would be absolutely HORRIBLE for our country.
Why?---Because he would want to pull us out of Iraq and by doing that, the 2500 men/women who've died in the war would have died for no purpose. How about breaking that news flash to their families? Not something I'd want to do! And furthermore, by pulling us out of Iraq---this would give terrorists the opportunity to plan another 9/11. They'd view us as being weak and they could try and attack us more. You see, by sending our men to Iraq, its kept the fighting out of America.

In all honesty, I have two answers. One, Kerry probably wouldn't have been an improvement, but he certainly couldn't make it worse. However, if Gore was elected in the first place, we wouldn't be having this problem.
