I used to have 2 bearded dragons, I asked the breeder the same question when I got my first one. He bread all kinds of lizzards and snakes and had for years. He said its never a good idea to mix breeds. You're best to get another bearded dragon and introduce them together slowly. Just don't get one thats too young or your boy might consider him dinner. I can't remember for sure, but I think you want a Male/Female pair (I thought that was what I was doing, but Lizzette turned out to not be a Lizzette lol, they got along fine in the end). The plus is that then you don't have to worry about 2 different kinds of food or neutrients or anything!

Have fun! I miss my boys!

Nope. Adult bearded dragons are horribly territorial and will attack other lizards...whether similiar species or not. Even keeping a mali uromastyx with them is a very poor choice since the Uro needs a temp of 110 F.

I have never heard of a young lady calling her special place that. But I would avoid putting yours in an aquarium with a lizard. Probably should stick to cotton panties and a nice skirt.

NO. You should never mix species of animals, no matter what. If you are going to buy an animal, you need to make sure that you have the time, money, attention, and devotion to provide it with proper husbandry, food, and care. Again, do not introduce any other animals other than other bearded dragons as they may fight and stress the animals.

No, best to keep the bearded dragon alone but if u feel the need to get it a friend, get one of the same size or there could be problems.

Not a very good idea. Bearded Dragons are very territorial. Also don't put a lot of the color black around them. This makes them nervous. They turn black when they are angry or aggresive towards one another. Like don't give one to your friend thats wearing a solid black shirt it might go nuts.

For the most part, I never recommend mixing species. This excludes most fish, cats, and dogs of course. But when it comes to most birds, small animals, and reptiles, they often have too different of needs or behaviours to cope with another type of animal.

I've heard it called many things but not a "bearded dragon"! Why does everyone talk about sex on this board?

Probably not. I suggest you speak to an expert at a Reptile Store.
