yes of course. Abortions, if done professionally and properly, have a very low risk of causing infertility.

Unless something goes wrong during the abortion you should be able to have children in the future. The only problem is that because you had an abortion and let someone murder your baby, it will eat away at you the rest of your life and you'll never be the same again. It would be so much better to just give the baby the gift of life and give it up for adoption. Avoid all that pain for everyone involved.

Will the abortion make me sterile?

No. An abortion should not affect your fertility and you can become pregnant
again after two weeks.

Can a woman still be pregnant after having an abortion?

Yes, however we prevent this possible complication by examining the pregnancy tissue immediately after the procedure. This exam confirms that the patient is no longer pregnant. The tissue is also sent to a pathologist for a final report.

Omphale, Im pretty offended by your comment.. You have no right to call someone a baby murderer and then tell them they do not have the right to have children ever because of an abortion.. I have a friend who would LOVE to have another child (he was lucky enough to have one) but his wife cannot carry a baby without causing harm to herself.. She got pregnant a lil over 6 months ago and had to have an abortion (in a hospital) because the fetus was causing her organs to shut down weeks after she had gotten pregnant. SHe would have died before the end of the first trimester - so it wasnt a choice of the mother or the baby, both would have died.. So, by your standard, she is a baby killer and shouldnt be allowed to have kids?? Shame on you for judging people.

Suppossedly yes, but I've heard the abortion can cause damage to your cervix and whatnot, meaning you wouldn't be able to carry a baby in the future. People who have abortions who don't consider these things in advance are stupid. Be responsible, it's called birth control. And taking responsibility when things happen, not the easy way out.

you can stil;l have children after an abortion but some women cant because you can get scar tissue from it wich sometimes makes pregnancy impossible. My aunt ha dthat problem she had an abortion at 17 and at 27 sge had to adopt because she couldnt get pregnant.

Abortion can damage one's reproduction organs so severely that future pregnancies are not possible. This is not always the case, but it is a risk. See:

Sometimes, but its just never a safe option. Doctors might not tell you this but there are many cases where not only did the mother murder her child (as the procedure intended) but the mother herself died. Its just NOT a safe avenue.

yes - you can. when you have an abortion, you're only terminating that pregnancy, not damaging the chance of having children forever.
