Why is Capt Barbosa still around. Did he not die from the curse.

Yeah I know, he was the only one we were sure died... we saw him get shot... But then, that crazy swamp chick has a lot up her sleeves... I bet she had something to do with it... Or since they are trying to find out how to bring back the dead, why not ask someone who is supposed to be dead?

It be simple me hearties.......
Stay tuned right to the end of the final credits of The Curse of The Black Pearl, there is an additional scene! Everyone appears to have left, Captain Barbosa is lay on the pile of treasure as the monkey swims by. The monkey then climbs the treasure pile on to Cortez's stone chest and remove a piece of the cursed gold. The monkey then screams at the camera again becoming skeletal, hence it cannot be killed in Dead Mans Chest and Barbosa is again not alive but more importantly not dead.

I don't care why or how he's back, I'm just happy. In the first movie, with the obvious exception of Jack, Barbosa was my favorite :D
The second movie was good, but it seemed more of a bridge to the third rather than a stand-alone movie. The first one was great as it was, whereas this one needs the third to complete it, and maybe I just don't like "cliffhangers" but I prefer it to be able to hold it's own. Either way though, entertaining :D

gosh did anybody pay interest to the action picture??????????? on the top of the first action picture the curse is lifted and barbosa is shot in the technique the chest and collapses. way too a lot blood to nevertheless be alive. end of action picture a million The voodoo swamp female requested will Elizabeth and some thing of the most suitable crew in the experience that they were keen to visit the ends of the earth if it meant they could convey captain jack back. all of them suggested certain she then informed they could want a captain to get them there. out comes barbosa. of direction someone went to the ends of the earth and delivered him back. end of action picture 2 of direction we are meant to have those type of lingering ?'s. it will develop anticipation for the launch of the third action picture in June/July 07

Didnt the lady say that if they wanted to get Jack back they had to sail to the end of the earth and beyond. well maybe she did that. And maybe he really didnt die because the monkey also cant die. And I also heard that after the credits for the first movie the monkey stole the meddalion.

Was shocked too when i saw him!! he is supposed to be dead...but then again the monkey named jack and those 2 idiotic pirates (the fat 1 n the 1 with the eyeball problem) is still alive!! enjoyed the movie though!!!can't wait for the 3rd!!

I think that she brought him back...just like they want to bring Jack back (if he's actually dead). I also thought it was weird that the monkey still couldn't die....

The curse didn't kill any of the pirates who were cursed, and all will be explained in the third movie.
