high in the air and goes to the dirction of teh linesmen should teh lines person turn his head taking a chance to lose focus and make a bad call or does he keep he looking stright and have a chance for teh player and teh linesmen to hit each other............. what should he do ? if tehy hit each other what is teh call ?

They're supposed to watch the line, period. Some linesmen have been hit. Notably, one was hit in the crotch during a Juniors match. He fell backwards, hit his head, and wound up dying of a hematoma. Basically, linesmen shouldn't interfere with the actual play of the game (only calling if their line was touched), but sometimes the play of the game winds up interfering with the linesmen.

They keep watching the line until the ball bounces. Then they just have to lean to the side. I have seen that hundreds of times. They never keep there eye off of the ball.
