You can't really tell until she's far enough along. I heard that boys are carried lower, and girls are high.

Amniocentesis or chorionic villi sampling, both of which are invasive procedures which elevate the risk of miscarriage. Neither of these should be performed solely for the purpose of gender determination. So unless she needs either of these for another reason, your only choices are ultrasound (not 100 % correct) or the old method of wait till she pops.
Congratulations and good luck.

Take a needle with thread and stick it to the end of a pencil. Then hold the thread (with pencil facing down) over her belly. It it goes in a circle it's a girl, if it goes side to side it's a boy.
Worked in all my family.

I was told if you guys were doing it hard and fast when you made the baby that you would blow the balls off of it so that would make it a girl and if you were doing it slow then it should be a boy. lol.

this is probaly a wives tale, but my grandmother told me if all the weight is in the belly, it's going to be a girl. if the weight is all over or mostly in the butt, its going to be a boy. she was right with all 3 of my kids though

well.. there are so many myths about this one... like...
~if her belly is high, then it's a girl.. if her belly is low, then it's a boy
~if she had morning sickness, then it's a girl.. if not, then it's a boy
~also, check out the Chinese Lunar Calendar (make sure to follow the directions)... it worked for me, my sisters-in-law, my mother, and just about everyone I know...

you need to wait until the time sonography provide you with the answer. none of the other measures are relibale. NO AMNIOCENTESIS. please review what you are suggesting to people. i am talking to my friend who recommended this risky procedure.
